Carwraps® Training at Fellers—a slam dunk!!

carwraps_training4September 3rd, 2009 – Los Angeles, CA – Last week’s Carwraps® training class was held at Fellers in Tulsa, OK. Mutoh America was in charge of booking the event and Fellers hosted the training at their “magnificent” training facility in Tulsa, OK.

Students got the inside fast track on how to launch, manage and prosper in the vehicle wraps industry. Key subjects were the selling, producing and installing of vehicle graphics and full vehicle wraps. The three day event focused on the importance of skillful sales, smart marketing, bold and effective designing—and perfect graphic installations.

Students learned about the benefits and some of the realities and misconceptions of running a “vehicle wrapping” business—both as a main business model and as an add on to their existing printing business. Among the valuable insights offered were solutions to common pitfalls and techniques for optimizing work flow and managing customer expectations.

On day one, Todd LaBrie shared his expertise drawing from his vast experience in outdoor advertising, large format printing, web marketing and graphic design.

On days two and three, veteran installer Patrick Buckley took over for the hands-on graphic installation portion of the training, giving students a solid and thorough course in graphic installation stressing performance, technique, quality and maintaining customer satisfaction.
