Motorcycle Wrap With Avery Supercast
Avery Certified Graphics Professionals Designer Wraps sent us these photos of a motorcycle “fully wrapped” and we just had to put them up for all to see.
According to Design Wraps owner Sean Tomlin, “Brad Vittorini (the bike’s owner) contacted us because he needed his bike wrapped for his race sponsors, Power Trip Energy Drink in Davie, FL. Power Trip Energy Drink sponsors both Brad and his brother (who also races in Florida) because they are “top finishers in drag bike racing. More specifically, they know they get their biggest advertising buck with a wrap, as opposed to paint, due to production costs and the fact that they can change their message after each season; you can’t do that cost-effectively with paint.”
Motorcycle wraps take vehicle wrapping to a whole new level and only the best graphics installers are capable of applying wraps to these types of surfaces. We asked Sean what his approach was for this type of custom wrap job and how he was able to handle all of the various surfaces. He told us “The design was tricky, but making a template for each panel took all the guess work out and gave us the ‘the perfect fit’. The installation was more time consuming than anything else.”
Sean further explained the process that was involved in getting the wrap to fit just right and how you need to be patient and diligent in getting all of the details correct. “Spending enough time laying out the pieces so they fit properly and lined-up with the next piece was crucial in creating the proper flow. When you look at the bike, each side is dead-on and each piece fits exactly where it’s was supposed to based on the design.”
Sean and his team at Designer Wraps are Avery Certified serving New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia Area. Sean tells us “Avery 1005EZRS is the absolute best wrap material on the market today. There really is no comparison. It prints beautifully on our Mutoh 1614 every time, and the installation is made simple with its unique gliding abilities. What’s also nice about this material is that is stays put with no primer necessary.”
